Event Description
Show your support for Mental Health America of Illinois (MHAI) Fashion-Que. A Fashion-Que? Now we’ve heard it all! Yes, that’s right – MHAI is combining a fashion show with a good ol’ fashioned barbeque. The fashion show on Saturday, June 1, 2013 will highlight looks from local Chicago boutiques. Man-B-Que will prepare an upscale BBQ buffet. DJ Johnny Walker will be mixing beats (not drinks). To raise additional funds for Mental Health America of Illinois, there will be a ‘fashion forward’ silent auction and a grand raffle with the top prize being a 2 night stay at a Tampa, FL resort with a round of golf.
The event and “Diva and Divo” fashion show will be emceed by Marco Foster and Sarah Vargo and will feature a silent auction, grand raffle, music by DJ Intel, food provided by Man-B-Que, Southern Wine and Spirits and Indio beer. Featured boutiques and designers include Natural Born Fighters, Mezlan-Chicago, Hasana, Mary Walter Boutique, Co-Op California, GOCA, Karen Millen, Monarc and more.
