Five Chicago based fashion designers inspire hope at a Project Runway inspired competition hosted by Heshima Kenya. Each designer was asked to create designs using scarfs from Maisha Collective.

The street off West Division St has been closed to hold an all day event that brought together fashion, music, food and shopping. On August 25, 2012 the Fashion Fest put together by M.GO Fashion CO made it’s come back for the 4th year in a row.

Fashion design students compete at Eleventh Annual Driehaus Awards
The Eleventh Annual Driehaus Awards for Fashion Excellence took place on Apr 27, 2012. Themed Driven by Design, the runway competition was held in a transformed garage space and allowed Chicago’s student fashion designers to showcase their collections to a panel of industry judges.
