|FAT| Arts & Fashion Week is a 5 day long festival that celebrates and showcases innovative talent in fashion, art and design by artists from across Canada and around the world.

The week showcases contemporary art and design through runway shows, art installations, performances, photography exhibits and fashion films. Now in it’s 8th year, the annual event has established itself as the groundbreaking platform for up-and-coming talent.

Each year is focused around a new main theme. This year’s the focus was Fashion Therapy, asking the question how does fashion impact the human condition? The work presented would examine aspects of the psyche seeking resolve through fashion.

Held on Apr 23 through to Apr 27, 2013 each of the 5 days of the festival had their own sub-themes: Drama, Craving, Escape, Crisis and Euphoria.
